With the new SQUAD 4.5 RACE+ carbon wheelset, we are sending a clear message: high-quality yet affordable wheelsets do not have to come from the Far East - real top quality can come directly from Austria. The 45 mm deep carbon rims combine aerodynamics, stability and low weight to create a perfectly balanced overall package. The integrated aero shaft guides the airflow in a targeted manner, minimises flow separation and ensures impressive riding stability even in strong crosswinds – an advantage that is unrivalled in this price range. The attractive price is made possible by consistently optimised in-house production. Precise craftsmanship and modern machinery work together perfectly. Semi-automated processes increase efficiency, while each component is still manufactured to the highest quality standards. Thanks to whole production in our own factory in Austria, there are no long transport routes, external expenses or import costs – a decisive factor that puts performance and price in a completely new perspective. Optimised carbon lay-ups, detailed analysis methods and one-shot hollow technology give the rim maximum stiffness and exceptional durability. The classic hook rim design with an inner width of 23 mm ensures a secure and perfect fit for modern tyre widths. The system is complemented by Aero spokes and the new XeNTiS XH006 hub with Center Lock® standard, which impresses with improved smooth running, high rigidity and maximum reliability. Various freehub options ensure that the wheelset is compatible with all common gear groups.
