Description

The SQUAD 2.4 was specially developed for mountain bikes and e-mountain bikes and combines state-of-the-art technology with first-class workmanship. FE analyses, rapid prototyping and various carbon lay-ups were used during development to gradually increase stiffness and optimise durability while maintaining a competitive wheel weight. Made from high-modulus carbon, the wheel impresses with maximum stability and minimum weight. A particular highlight is the technically sophisticated design: reinforcements in the nipple area ensure ideal force distribution in the rim and thus contribute to the durability and performance of the wheel. Visually, the SQUAD 2.4 also makes a statement with its clear lines and high-quality workmanship. With 28 spokes, an asymmetric profile (4.5 mm offset) and a width/depth of 39/24 mm (27.5", tubeless-ready), it guarantees the best traction, control and stiffness - ideal for demanding trails and fast climbs. The hookless 27.5er wheelset is available with an internal width of 33 millimetres, accepts tyres from 50-72 millimetres and is compatible with the Center Lock® disc brake standard.
